Lets see your Watches

Made a mistake trying on the new Pelagos last week. I'm meant to be moving house next year but I can't see how this won't get bought soon...

Lovely watch, but I preferred the first version before they put all that text on the dial

I made the mistake of trying it on too last month & it ended up coming home with me to join the others!

Not worn it yet as decided it would be my 40th gift to myself later this month, which is what the Submariner I purchased before they discontinued the 14060M was meant to be for...and then the Blackbay after that. I have an understanding wife lol

Haha excellent. All 3 are brilliant watches so that clearly makes it justifiable :D

Thanks :D I love them...couldn't get cash off the Tudor, so got a silly price on a blackbay leather strap & deployent...100% not worth the retail price IMHO. The rest of mine are Seiko SKXs, 2 custom and 2 std, along with a Tuna & a Scurfa.

Get the Pelagos, you won't regret it. Can't wait to get it on a black NATO. There was a 2014 old dial one for sale on TZ-UK a couple of days ago in perfect condition

Really can't go wrong with Seikos can you, great collection!

I want it extremely badly. I think I'll wait a couple of months and see if the feeling stays with me. If so, I'll pull the trigger. I'd love to see some photos when you get yours on a Nato!

Would look a bit like this, although this is the blackbay dark. The other blackbay is currently on a NATO.

He's got a special zenith on order as well as the Tudor. Went out with my sister yesterday to come home and find he's bought a Breitling Superocean :headbang:

But he did get me my new strap for my activity watch. Talking of which I really do like the Tag connected, just far too big.

In defence of Rado watches, yes they are expensive but I've had mine over 10 years, wear it every day and being ceramic it does not have a single scratch on it and could be put back in the box and look unworn - even after 10 years.

Picked this one up over the weekend...

DSC_0528_zpszsnwteqk.jpg

Its a Gerlach Froggy bronze case with a seiko auto movement, limited edition of only 115 pieces so really happy to be able to get my hands on one

If you havn't heard of Gerlach they are a Polish manufacturer and have some really nice models not overly expensive and excellent build quality http://gerlach.org.pl/list_of_gerlach_watches.html

This is the non limited edition of mine... http://gerlach.org.pl/submarine.html comes in dark brown instead of green and doesn't have the frog on the dial or the frog foot on the second hand

 Yeah I know I took the photo over the weekend when i was quite drunk

Some slightly better photos taken by the guy i bought it from, as my photo really didn't do anything to show off the depth and texture of the dial
