Iv never been a watch guy, I bought a Apple watch at Christmas and use it for all of a week lol Sold it and bought the Rolex above, always wanted one and it was the OPs pic on the first place that decided which one I wanted :)

Only had it 2 days though and not wearing it today, currently sat in the office in shorts and vest due to the weather, I thought the rolex wouldn't suit the outfit lol

@Steve84N that Tissot T-Complication Squelette is a thing of beauty
Thanks Pete, I'm impressed you know what it is.

I first saw it in a jewellers in Bourge last Summer and now finally given in on buying it. I did engineering at uni so I'm a sucker for how things work. After looking at the usual TAGs etc I decided they didn't look much better than a £200 watch and fancied something a bit different.

As for spending money on watches it's the only bit of jewellery a man can wear (imo) other than my wedding ring. Girl's jewellery is usually worth a fair bit so why not...?

Is that instead of the Rolex you mentioned :?

Rolex now purchased :) Pictures don't do it justice :(

No comparison in my eyes , the Apple thing just not for me & hard to see any beauty or style in it whatsoever :o sure it will perform some useless functions but i'm happy with a watch that tells the time
Great choice on the Rolex , a real "forever" watch

Got it about £550 cheaper than the UK price and still £150 less than Birmingham airports 'best price'!
Been looking at getting it beforehand but price was too good to turn down here, so I told the missus anyway!

Looks lovely and a good buy, and some points scored with the misses for getting it so cheap

Bloody love my Apple Watch, I find it really useful to the point I don't wear my other watches anymore because I'd miss my Apple Watch.

I love how it charges too, I wish they would put that tech into the phones

Omega speedmaster silver snoopy award limited edition. Only waited for a year for it to arrive
Very nice, but aren't those Snoopy's going for ridiculous prices? Demand was so high that people who had put their name down at a dealer and even paid a deposit, were 'bumped' for preferred customers, ie, those who had bought other watches from them. To me, that stinks.
But ethics aside, it is a beautiful watch - enjoy it

You are right, it's been quite a ridiculous and tortuous wait. At their peak they were going for £11-12k, rrp is £4630. I have a deposit down for another but I am now being told Omega have over allocated 100 watches to the UK...

Picked up a nice Oris GMT Diver from TZ Sales Corner, and it landed today. Its a great watch for the money with a bulletproof ETA movement. It measures 44mm but wears more 42mm due to the sloping sides. We are off to the Far East later in the year so the GMT function will come in handy

That looks great Paul , got to say i'm totally smitten with my Oris Aquis , its been on my wrist daily since purchase
Feels supreme quality
