Lets see your Watches

Received an email of Christopher Ward today to say they are still doing 15% off everything until xmas eve, Need to enter BFCM15 at checkout. It doesn't mention the 15% off on the website.

did anyone take advantage of the sale and get a watch last week from CW??

I would have expected it to have been sent out by now, but I've had nothing apart from the initial conformation of the purchase, just wondering if I'm alone in this???

Yes I placed an order with them on the 16th and not heard anything from the initial order confirmation. I'm guessing they are just very busy with Xmas coming up.

They are up the walls, been onto them and they are working almost to midnight to clear orders.

yet they continue to advertise purchases will be delivered before Christmas..... Lets hope they can make it...

I hope this isn't a sign they're losing one of their USPs that helped them get to their current position.

I bought one in 2012 and loved their personable service, the prices and the relative rarity.

I hope I'm overthinking things and the above 3 things aren't diminishing.

They do indeed. They usually text you prior to its arrival to give you the opportunity to delay it. Hey advise you of your delivery drivers name and the hour they expect it to be delivered.

Thanks Angie, yes I forgot its DPD lol so you're right, I will probably pop home as don't fancy the watch being delivered to my Local Halfords which would be the nearest shop.

I don't believe they deliver elsewhere without your authority unlike UPS who if your not in take it to a local 'drop off' point. Great if it's near, not so great if it's not and/or you have no idea where the shop is.

You can ask DPD online to deliver to a your nearest nominated shop from their list which for me would be Halfords, I don't really fancy a 600 quid watch sitting around after its been delivered.

mine has made it here safely.....

feels like a nicely made watch, quite like the blue colour 'in the flesh'

Coniston Bluebird is one of the best ales I've ever tasted (and tasted and tasted and tasted and tasted and so on!). Best enjoyed on draught in a Cumbrian beer garden though not half bad out the bottle either.

I think we need a "Let's see your beer" thread next. :D
 
The Bluebird is looking great and nice dial colour :thumbsup:

My C70 arrived at lunchtime and just got around to unpacking. The box and manuals are really nice and the watch is flawless and beautifully finished, overall very pleased with my first CW purchase :)
