A CW GMT for the collection picked up in a recent sale at CW

Very nice I've been having a browse of the CW website, never looked before and love this watch so see and impending purchase soon.

I was looking at getting a Steinhart Racetimer but looking at the CW watches they are a tad cheaper but the quality looks to be slightly better with the dial faces than the Steinhart watches.

C70 is nice - it's worth getting on he CW mailing list and see what comes up in their sale after Christmas they sell on some ex Demos at some incredible prices. I started with a C7 bluebird and then it quickly grew - as I've said before great customer services and return policy with the 60 day return policy and a forum which rivals here .

The GMT I picked up came in at half price in the Trident pre Christmas sale

Top end fakes do exist but I do not think you would get anywhere near to them :roll:

Love that Omega, I have the exact same watch. The blue wave dial and that bracelet is the most sought after combo mainly due everybody going for the bond bracelet back then.

I edited out the bit about buying a fake Rolex 'so you look like you spent a lot of money'. It could be taken as a bit inflammatory - that wasn't my intent. I can see why people buy fakes (reps). I don't buy them, but that's my choice. I wish I could see some of these 'top end' fakes that some of you own, as ALL of the ones I have seen personally look obvious, and are poor quality. The Tag Monaco posted earlier looked good, but you can't really tell much from pics.
A difficult subject, but most on here seem willing to discuss both sides without getting worked up about it.

and that doesn't surprise me because 99% of what people see are POS.

it's definitely a keeper, had mine for over 15 years and it still looks as good today.
