Less sexy?

Those rear lights look like some leopard skin accessorie, curves have been straightened too much, front air dam looks like a shocked open mouthed teenager.

-1 here

I'm biased too (having a E89). I really like the looks, but it's very colour dependent.

I only like the M sport front and back (it's more sporty and agressive). However, it does look much wider and lower than the old model.

I agree with comments here (having owned both models), the E89 is bigger and more difficult to place in the corners. However, point to point it's less tiring to drive.

That e89 coupe concept is terrible. Someone has just Photoshopped a mustang rear end/roof on to an e89. Thank god they never attempted to make that.

That's a real car Mowflow - hand built by Zagato, one of a kind. Personally I like it, but each to their own

Really! They shouldn't have bothered.

Actually, I watched the video of this car when it was released but I never made the connection to that pic because it looks so fake (terrible bit of retouching). I only watched half the video and they never really showed the full car in the video......... now I know why :poke:

Still like it :P

Back on topic, e85, roof down on a day like today = sexiest 8)

I actually think this photoshop effort is much better looking than the Zagato version (don't tell them though)...

I quite like the front of the E89, got a nice muscular look, but the rear needs some serious work and is why imo the coupe is the best looking of the zeds 8)

Regardless of which zed you have, as long as you could drop the roof today it was sexy as can be :D

Yeah, was driving home yesterday with the top down in the glorious sunshine, passed a coupe and thought 'oh, you poor baby!'

:poke:

Hmm, not getting into that debate, but as I pointed out in another thread recently, it's amazing how many zeds I've passed in this recent fine weather with the roof up - too hot for some maybe?

When (if) the sun shines mid summer and you're out for a long drive then you do reach a point where the roof up gives respite from the wind/sun. Especially true if you're on a motorway. However, it is amazing how many convertibles have their roof up on a nice day  Even saw a Z4 the other day with a hard top on!

Think it boils down to laziness for most people. They cant be bothered to hold the button down! Why buy a convertible if you aren't going to have the roof down!

Gaptech solves that - 1 sec push, release, voila

Got it mate - the RCH+ or whatever. I love it! Hardly ever use the button inside. Roofs down before I get in the car :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Talking of the E89 imo the front/roof is sorted and is a good evolution from the E85, however the rear just looks like it's been rushed in the design stage.
What they 'should' have done is built on the superb ass of the E85 which is by far the Cindy Crawford of the convertible World and married it to the E89 front...

If I get a chance I'll see if I can PS an example. Edit only a 10 minute special but you get the idea...

Ditto - out the front door, press the button 3 times, roof down by the time the garage door is open :D

@ Georgio - good effort mate
