Lepson's alternative in Sussex

Lepson's is too far away and I have no means to get the wheel off the Abarth to ship it.

From when the car was about a month old, the Abarth has had a chip on the diamond cut wheel. I have not done anything about it, but as now at 10k miles (!!), the front tyres need replacing, I want to get the wheel sorted.

Looking online, getting the wheels off an Abarth is just about impossible as you can not jack and support the car at the same time by the looks of it.

So looking at another way to get the tyres replaced and that wheel fixed, but not having a lot of luck as being diamond cut, nobody seems to touch the wheels.

Lepsons is a fair drive away in Bing country, and don't want to leave the car there for a week with them ragging it no doubt.

Thoughts?

Never used them but what about

I used http://www.rimtecrefurbs.co.uk to refurb my 224s :)

You seriously bought a car you can't get the wheels off without professional help ?

Wheelworks did my CSL's. There is also a place at fellbridge

If you nip up to wheelworks you can see some customer wheel in the shop so you can get an idea of their work.

Surely you just record the mileage when you leave it with them, they aren't going to move it miles in their facility over the week & therefore can't rag it about. I left my S2000 with them & no increase in the mileage, they are a quality outfit, unless things have changed.

I went to the one in Crawley 4 years ago but they were not sure if they could do Diamond cut so did not feel that comfortable about that one. Lepsons is obviously far away for me so would have to take two cars, twice.

Might try the Crawley one again to see if they can do something now as that would obviously be a lot easier for me.

Real pain that you can't put an Abarth on axel stands though, states even in the handbook that you have to use the 4 lift posters otherwise you damage the side skirts.

They can't do diamond cut and send those to Lepsons, so that might be your answer, unless the fellbridge lot are an option.

The fella that was responsible for my car when I left it with them took a photo of the mileage and its on the paperwork I took with me when leaving the car then the car was then popped into a storage unit

Some garages can be trusted others cant.
My wifes MR2 years ago was taken on a jolly while it was supposed to be getting the alarm fixed.
We hadnt taken note of the mileage but the twats had taken the car out and must have taken the glass roof panels off.
We paid particular attention to how the storage bags were placed behind the seats and thats what gave it away.
