....that takes us straight back to the 'Dutch Lego'...... if 'straight' is the correct word....
 
is it just me or does anyone else think it is sad that lego is now designed to 'make' one thing. It was originally designed to be creative- hence the name meaning 'play'. There was nothing better as child than creating your masterpiece which in your eyes was perfect.

Yes but give Lego to a child, even a box meant to build something specific and they'll make anything that pops into their mind. In fact it will all end up in a huge box.

However my now 3 year old nephew loves the Lego City range for 8+ (I've pointed this out to him too) but he loves trains and is actually rather good at building them. Keeps him happy
