So last night I was grabbing a beer and can see into my Shed where i keep my Z under cover of the ugly weather and sunshine and well, any way I saw the rear back side marker was lit up.
Mind you, at first I thought it was an odd light reflection and stood there, pondering if that was true.
To be truthful, I never seen those back side markers lit up, just thought they were reflectors for cross traffic.....so i walked up to the shed and yep, it was not an odd light reflection, it was lit up by a bulb underneath.

Did I push a button I never seen? Nope. Did I do anything abnormal other than drive it to work and back home and park it? Nope.

So I research online about parking lights, read that it was possible I left the left turn indicator down when I got out somehow after turning the ignition off. Nope, it was dead center, as I'm one of those guys that rarely needs to signal a turn.

Load Carly Gen 2 up to see if there's any faults: None.
Okay fine, drop the lead off the battery for 30 mins and reconnect, parking lights lit back up.
So I'm currently disconnecting the battery as the wife is using my other daily driver while her's is in the shop.

What am I missing about this parking light that it wont shut the hell off? :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

The side markers are a North American fitment only I think, so your pool of knowledge might be a little shallow on this forum... Instead of disconnecting the battery, why not just remove the bulb?

Haven't left your indicator stalk in the left or right turn position have you? I know some markets have this configured as single side parking lights when the key is removed.
