So trying to do one job, fit an amp.
Need roof operated a few times.
Then on one opening, bong, roof stuck windows open.
Drafty drive home in fog.
So now the left side wiring rear shell is faulty.
Knew it would fail at some point.
Knew i should have just replaced it in the summer at my leisure.

I read somewhere the insulation is made from organic compound like soy, more eco nonsense.
Never heared of.

Seems to be another alternative fact.

From Google AI.
BMW wiring is usually made of copper or aluminum and insulated with a durable material like PVC. Some BMW wiring may also be soy-based.
Probably to keep up their recycle credentials up.

Fixed in half hour, as i knew, broken wire.
Should have just replaced in summer.

My advice, again, just replace the one pair left and 2 right side before they break, they will..

Cut wires and splice in new length.

What wire is everyone using to repair these issues. I've read of super flexible wire but haven't found a specific brand or type of wire.

I used some highly flexible silicone wire.

I ordered the 20 gauge which was a little thinner than the ones on the car, I’ve only repaired 2 of the wires so far around one of the knuckles, when I do the others I may order the slightly thicker 18 gauge, smaller the number the thicker the wire.
