Yeah, that's what I'd expect most white leds to be... Will see what they say, apologies in advance for the delay, I'll be able to send out the warm white on monday though.
Really annoying, despite ordering from the same supplier the PCB LEDs look different for both types; I've got a load of fiddling about and testing to do :headbang:
Could be having my weekend
M is at detailer then off to 3m Monday for pro series wrap so no M..
Maserati is up on jacks again as when fitted all new suspension my mate didn't tighten braided hoses enough and leaked all over front wheels so off to be Refurbed
Then starter motor died last night on it
So I'm taking that out in morning to get rebuilt Monday
2 soft tops and both off road
Steve is aware, but I forgot to tell the forum - I can personally vouch for the ruggedness of these beauties...
The strip which my partner threw away into recycling was chucked out of the box and left by the side of my house as the good chaps at the borough council were sorting through my glass, cardboard and tin and clearly were not accepting LED strips in their remit that day! It was left there until I did the weeds recently and noticed it!
Left it in the airing cupboard overnight as a precaution, connected it up, and works a treat! Haven't told the missus yet though...
Awesome work Steve - will upload a night shot this eve for ya'll
Apologies these aren't the best of pics, but I can assure you the light is a crisp white light with no blue or yellow and is a lot brighter in reality and easily fills the whole boot better than the stock bulb did. These were taken on an iPhone 6, and the orange haze comes from a nearby street lamp I forgot to take into account when taking these pics! :headbang:
New LED strip is on order and should arrive in time for the weekend; 10 kits are made up so that's all I'm waiting for, once tested I'll ask for payment before sending out early next week, then ordering more for the next batch and opening up the survey again.
