Not as much as if I ditched two cylinders and ran it on four :fuelfire:

You're all paying too much.

I replaced my bulbs in the numberplate lights, footwells, boot etc with these

$4.50 USD for a pair inc delivery is all you should be paying. If anything they are too bright for the numberplate lights so i put a dab of paint on the LEDs to dull them a bit.

For everything else they are perfect. And no, there is no 'bulb out' warnings with these installed.

This just isn't happening. Managed to free the wires from tue old plugs bur cannot seemto push them
Into the new connectors. They just put up alot of resistance. The picture in the thread shows the green ribbed grommet all the way inside the connector and they just won't go.

... Help please!!!!!!

Thread resurrection:
I did this Mod today, To save anyone else hassle.
The wires complete with grommets will push easily into the new fitting BUT only one way. you have to line up the edge of the wire with the raised part ,with the holes on the new fitting so they are gripped in place, otherwise they will never go all the way home.
Fitting time for the pair 10 minutes.

Have we found out what the best product is yet to get that cool white colour that new m3s have ?

I read there are oem replacement units now has anyone fitted them ?
