LED Number / License plate lights

I have seen quite a few 1 series with what seem to be LED White lights to illuminate the rear plate ? Has anybody done it to their z4 ?. If so what bulbs and were from ?

It looks as simple as just swapping the bulbs over. I've never actually seen a car with them fitted but I guess it would look quite sleek.
 
When I first saw them lit on my new Zed, I thought they looked a bit strange - very bright and really white looking. 8)

- you may have to 'round' those square corners off with a small file/Dremmel. They look like they'd be too large to fit through the round holes/sockets on the 'lenses' on the car.

ive got them on my 335 and they do look good, not worried about the law as i dont think theve got anything as fast! (only kidding)
