LED Interior Lights

I have just fitted LED interior lights, what a difference! With my old eyes it felt like getting into a dark cave at night, now as bright in there as my Audi daily driver.
I got the lights from a German company on E Bay, they arrived within 4 working days. To fit the interior light it has to be pulled apart, an easy job, the whole thing 'clicks apart' then 2 screws to remove the lens. The polarity has to be correct with LED's so the bulb holder has to be the right way round. I got it on the second attempt. The whole operation only took 15 minutes including re-doing the bulb holder polarity. Here is the link for anyone interested, not the cheapest, but well worth it.

Has anyone tried this package ?

I've brought cheap led gu10 bulbs for the house and they were fine.

But is it different for smaller car bulbs ?

Thanks

Sorry for revive of an old thread.

Have either of you managed to get pics of the finished product?

I changed mine over a year ago :D but don't have any pictures, sorry.

I have done a search and there are a few photos in these threads which should show you what the lighting effect is like

I didn't use the package i basically just bought what i needed of ebay, but yeah for the £5-10 it costs to get the leds you need, it's well worth it, makes it look far more modern on the inside at night etc

I used these for the three interior roof lights and the one in the centre console cubby http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281204154317

and these for the sidelights/footwell/license plate and boot

For the sidelights they're great, for the rest prob overkill you could use the leds from the first link instead if you wanted, but they all fit regardless.

used this for the led strip in the boot

Got to agree it was the best £10 spent. I also changed the boot light to LED and the centre consul cubby light to LED, they are so much brighter now :D
