LED indicator bulb without dash error lights triggered

Has anyone replaced their indicator bulbs for LED's?
I'm looking to replace mine but cautious about buying the wrong ones and having error lights triggered on the dash.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Not yet but have some Philips ones waiting to go in. They come with load resistors but I won't use them, instead I will code the checks out.

Any CANBUS LEDs I've used have been dubious quality, they simply include resistors built in to work and I have a suspicion the heat then have to dissipate is what kills them eventually.

I started a thread on this recently but i'll let u search for it cos i just got in from a 40km bikeride and after i've had a shower i'm gonna be cracking open the first beer of the evening, so thats my agenda. Anything else would just be too much effort i'm afraid :D
But someuseful info in there inc scoobasteves posts.

I'll be coding out the voltage checks when i install mine suffice to say.

If you're going to code out the checks get something decent from Philips or Osram.

These are what I have waiting, though they come with a set of separate load resistors.

Yeah fully intend to. Those philips look good. U installing this weekend? Get a vid up mate and let's have a butchers...

Not this weekend, still need to get NCS on a laptop, doesn't play ball on my tablet on Win 10.

Tried on a fiesta though and look great, no hint of orange when off due to the white heat sink, which is metal. Seem brighter too.
