LED Front Fogs

I have fitted these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251144482245?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 and the end result is shown below.

They do throw a good bright light but theres not much of a beam pattern and I suspect the first time I use them in proper fog will be the last as I'm expecting them to have a low of light just reflected back. But fitted them a year ago and no serious fog so far so just not sure.

Just a question, given the cost of the replacement bulbs, did you not want to go for a hid kit instead?

Just never gave it a thought at least with LED its 'plug and play' no messing about fitting ballasts etc, might well switch in the future but would HIDs give a similar pattern to halogen?

I would only assume so re beam patterns. Would just be advised to get bulbs designed for reflectors and you would be okay.

Light pattern, as you can see its not up to much other than producing light, no projection pattern at all
