Not the stuff I use. I use Zaino Z10 which has a "leather" smell, not anything remotely smelling like cherry or strawberries. Zaino Z9 cleaner followed by Z10 conditioner is, on standard Z4 leather, the best leather treatment product I've used.
Oh, okay, now I remember, that was Kansas Reconstituted Dingleberry Juice. It is a big seller in Western Kansas. I just happened to have some. I use it for tires.

He must have smelled the inside of your car after you just ripped one, since I do not remember the seats smelling like "berries". :? I think he is remembering the AIO and other Zaino waxes, Z2/5, that do have a berry scent (lime, cherry, etc)
