Hope this helps u,cheers

My ScuffMaster kit arrived this morning - a large bottle of the main dye and 3 smaller bottles of toner (white, blue and a more clearer white). I'll report back later after I've tried it. :)

Yep, mine arrived today too. Unfortunately, I was in such a rush to try it, I forgot to take any photos, but be assured, it has worked a treat on my black leather seats. Hardly used a drop either, so excellent value for money. Took a week to arrive though...

Well, this stuff really is very good. :D I had a bit of a scuff on the material on the central console next to the arm rest and glovebox, so used it on there as well. I think at first I was too keen to wipe it off (the good leather) with a damp cloth too quickly, but if you keep applying it to make sure all the white bits are gone it works well. I didn't use any of the toners, just the dye.

Apologies for hijacking this thread but I've contacted Gliptone regarding a scuff kit for my car and they ideally need a sample. Not keen on trying to take bits of trim off to find a bit I can send them so has anyone else had a scuff kit for seat colour NBC5 - according to the bmw info my seat colour is anthracite for the central section and silverstone for the bolsters. It's really the silverstone I need but there's nothing like that on the Gliptone site.

Thanks.

I had an almost identical conversation with them... although they were very nice and helpful they do not have a colour code for anthracite.. and dont understand the 3 character bmw code!

Good thread this.....

Ive just found a few small cracks on my freelanders seat in the folded over leather (finishes the edge)as its joined to another section with stitching. basically it must have got a little dried out and split slightly at the stitching.

I think it looks like it needs a little filler type product then touching over with a paint.

Any ideas? When i can get the photo uploaded it may help a little.

Cheers

This thread was just what I was looking for! I have had some scuff marks on drivers seat ever since I bought the car and always told myself I would sort it but never got round to it and didnt really fancy paying someone to restore it! Ordered liquid leather on Monday and arrived yesterday. Car needed a serious clean so thought would be the perfect opportunity to use it. Results below...

Thanks Pawn for the initial post :)

Looks imola red to me, but that can only be if it is an M.

If it is not an M, then it is "dream red".

I picked up the kit in Estoril Blue to restore the bolster and headrests. Done one bolster so far and it's well worth the £14. Literally took years off the car and now the interior looks like it has been meticulously cared for as opposed to "well loved".
Couldn't recommend enough and I was well prepared to take the car to get re-upholstered. No need at this stage
