Leather restorer

Hi Guys, I'm on a roll tonight, three posts in an hour LOL

Can anyone recommend a decent Leather restorer for the red leather upholstery ? The usual spot drivers bolster. No rips or tears but heavy pattenation, any ideas?

Regards

Really work the cleaner in with a softish nail brush. Then generously apply the conditioner. Really does come up well. And it smells lovely too.

Don't know where you are. I'm in the colonies and just had my interior redone on my 2004 and I am thrilled. Replaced two panels in the seats and cleaned everything else and it looks great. I'm in Florida

I just bought some 'Scratch Doctor' off ebay for my black leather seats. Costs about £13 a large tub including postage. My seats now lovely and pure black again. Easy to apply and it soaks in really quickly with no residue. Dries quickly.

Sorry guys, changed my mind! On my original post, what I thought was an excellent product is proving not to be. 'Scratch Doctor' appears fine to start with. Unfortunately, it DOES NOT soak into the leather as well as first thought. If you get rained on, then sit in your seat, the black dye WILL transfer to your clothing! Also, any attempt to try and clean the seats with 'wet wipe' leather cleaner/restorer tissues will result in the dye coming straight off! Don't waste your money

Sorry, but this is a case of user error, used this product numerous times as have many other forum members, certainly no dye transfer here, you probably didn't prep the leather correctly.

Not user error at all. And nothing to do with prepping the leather! The product gives every indication of 'soaking in' and appears to do so. But, no matter how long ago it is applied it WILL transfer to wet, light coloured clothing and also on to ANY damp leather/wet wipes you may intend on using in the future to clean the seats.

I dyed the full interior in my last 330 cabriolet from black to Cinnamon - no dye transfer whatsoever following the correct procedure with applying the dye & using the sealer- its possibly a bad batch?
