Leather hard seat back

My driver one kept coming off and after much deliberation as per others in this thread, I could not figure out how the white clips contributed to the mounting other than helping position the part.

I ended up finding that one of the bottom 2 push/screw rivet holes was broken so I used some ductape to hold it back together and stuck a fatter plastic rivet in there.

That was over a year ago and no issues since

Side note, I found the plastic clips made some rattling sounds as they loosened overtime within the back trim. Again, ductape to the rescue

Mine did same thing. I had gotten a new back and clips but shortly after replaced with sparcos so no issue since

From what happened to yours, do the clips in the picture seem intact? Which part if yours was broken?

My original seat back the bottom holes were broken through and think the top clips weren't keeping clipped in right. The new seat back seemed that the top clips held but still undid itself just took longer to come undone. Per someone's advise here I took a clear silicon sealer and used that on the top clips and it held to the point that I swapped my seats.
