Leather colour name

I want to purchase some liquid leather to try and improve the look of my seat bolsters. From the picture below, what BMW name do you reckon would be given to the grey leather?

I'm assuming the grey wont fade too much and the colour will match fairly well, I have considered cutting off a sample but not really sure where to take it from as I would have thought that anywhere where you would be happy to cut from would be not visible therefore not subject to sunlight and so wouldnt be representative. :|
 
i have been wanting to know this question for months!!!

I emailed glimptone and they said they would need a sample.. but i cant get a sample off the msport seats!

The BMW colour name for it is Anthracite.....

If you ever find a match i would owe you a pint!

The dark grey is anthracite (coal grey), the light grey is pearl grey.

Ahh i always presumed they were the same colour.... thats good to know.. now time to see if i can find some coal grey leather repair :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
I have some scuffs to the bolster on my driver's seat and Gliptone have suggested I send them a head rest to confirm the colour.
Even though I know it to be Champagne Cream, they say - "there could be up to 3 shades in some colours". :?
