Came out yesterday to find fluid underneath the car.
Got it on the ramp to find the pipes leaking fron heat exchanger to Auto box.

Pants,

£70 for the short one and £105 for the other,

Plus fluid...5 day wait though.
Weather here was superb today too..

More than likely perished O rings in the end, they can be easily replaced though...

Thanks for that info Mike but the end where the pipes are staged on are pretty rotten too so may as well just replace and forget then..
Whilst under their is it worth having the gearbox sump off and cleaning out at all. Is their a filter inside at all?

Also is it worth getting genuine BMW fluid?

Cheers

What model/year is the car? The fluid for the 5 speed is this one; https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/engine-oils-and-car-fluids/car-tranmission-oils/automatic-transmission-fluids/?522776291&&cc5_869

The fluid for the 6 speed is CONSIDERABLY more expensive, even from ECP, think it is about £13/L to me trade.

Ok, then it's the one I linked to, which is right for that box, you'll need 10L, but struggle to get about 8 or 9L out, see my post here;
