Leaking boot - any ideas?

Not had any issues with leaks in the boot until I fitted my new hard top.

I now have a leak into the right hand side behind the lights - the left hand side us fine.

It's obviously related to fitting the hard top, but does anyone have any ideas why or how, or more importantly, how to fix it?!?

Mine leaks every so often from just behind the offside rear lights. Always cured by tweaking up the screws on the panel above the lights. There is a rubber grommet attached as part of the screw/ waterproofing, they seem to slacken off every now an again. Perhaps hard top diverting water down these channels rather than the normal raggy root is causing the issue. 2 minute job...

I just sorted mine, well I think it's sorted.

I replaced the boot vents behind the bumper (still leaked), then changed the rear light gaskets.

Whilst I was changing them, I turned the 2 rubber grommets on the edge of the tailgate as they were sticking out a little, probably allowed water to run into the boot.

Seems to be ok so far, but will need a very heavy rain shower to know for sure.

Weirdly enough, my problems also started after fitting a hardtop. Must be connected in some way. Maybe the way the water runs down off it?

Mine was the boot vents also, fiddly but easy to replace.
