Hi,

Anyone else off to Le Mans Classic in July? There are a few of us from Peterborough going connected with the Pistonheads website, and it appears i'm the only one in a Z4 :)

Hi,

Included link. It's basically, classic car Le Mans, not as busy as Le Mans, but still as fun :)

Most people go to Le Mans, which my friends did last year, but this year, they fancied the classic one :)

There are a group of us staying in a Chateau in France. We will be camping there, with other people watching the race, loads of sports cars, pitch your tent next to your car in the grounds of the Chateau, BBQ's each evening etc. Swimming Pool, sun..., 5 days we will be there for roughly, driving down from UK, Channel Ferry etc.

Should be lovely in the Z4, top down, riding along with a mate, in our group we have 2 x Nobels, 2 x Ultimas and a Porsche Boxster S, in convoy.

There will be loads of others going across the Uk and Europe :)

Supposed to be going with a mate in his MG but not sure what he is doing at the mo.

Going down in June for the main event looking forward to that as i missed it last year first time in 10 years.

Went to Le-Classic last time was a good weekend a lot quieter than normal so better for an early evening drive Friday night top down :D then get back to the circuit for around 10pm watch a few hours of practice with some beers :D :D

Worth getting the Paddock pass :thumbsup:

Defo getting passes, looking for a chilled weekend, with chilled french beer, and no so chilled french women :P

Do they have pit girls at the classic? Or are they really old ones? lol

Yes origonal 50s cheers leaders :D but instead of battons to twirl they have a zimmer :D

No pit girls last time :( but with the paddock pass we did manage to sneak into the pits around 2am.

Paddock pass was also usefull on the Friday night as no bars seemed to be open except the one in the paddock
