Just an update, Cooper BMW have advised the parts are on a 4 week back order. Also if you order via their website it will ask for your reg or vin no. obviously like I did entered my reg but they will mail back to say the parts won't fit so had to explain they will with mofification and accept any warranty on them will be voided.

Also ordered a set today, as per Tim, looking at a four week wait for delivery.

Did you order from Cooper BMW? when I mailed the parts guy back to say that the trims can be modified to fit he said I thought that was the case as he'd received quite a few orders for them

Told Deb tonight there is a mod that I NEED for the car for £90!!!!

Explained it to her and she seemed to approve!!!! Also want the black sport grills.....how much are they?

Imagine they're plastic Terry, if metal would be twice the price

Plastic. They're very light (i.e. feel cheap) but are fine once installed. If anything they're a bit 'too' chrome and don't really match any other metal on the car other than the front grills, I think the chap that sprayed them satin had the right idea IMHO. Perhaps they'll look different on differently coloured cars.

The black sport grills I've held off getting now as I think bright chrome indicators and black front grills may make the 'too chromey' thing stand out more. The black grills cost £80 for the set.

I think they look ok against the black but I like the original ones on silver or white as they don't stand out as much!

I'd debadge too as it gives a cleaner look, but I don't suppose you will want to know my thoughts!! :|

I think they'll look good on both colours but as lux points out they'll be more showy than the pre lci white indicators.

They stand out a lot on the black (see my pics) I'd fit them first then decide as they can be removed again...

I ordered a set on sat 18th, told it`s a 4 week back order, they called this morning to say they are here ready for collection, took only 3 days, result.
