LCI side indicators

I'm looking at swapping to the LCI side indicators. I'm in no rush and can see them around for about £100 new. What have people paid for them? I would be happy having them off another car but would need to be considerably cheaper if used, but cant see many around and breakers I've contacted are expensive.
So my question is what should I be looking to pay for a used pair?

The problem with used ones is the adhesive section wont be any use, so you'd have to replace it. Most sellers, as you've obviousley found already, try to rip buyers off for silly money!

The other alternative to the LLLParts I've listed above would be your local dealer (BMW, not drug! )

Thanks, yes new is looking like £100. Interesting re the used ones and adhesive

I meant given they are clicked and glued on chances that the average recycling gorilla will get them off without damage is poor..

They are definitely a nice lift to the side of the car and they fit perfectly, but they are made of chromed plastic - so I think if you tried to remove them, here is a good chance they would break unless the were VERY carefully removed with a long sharp blade.

It’s more expensive, and add a few more quid for international posting, but definitely far superior quality. And you can pick the colour you want.

But surely they are just OE factory ones dechromed and painted for triple the price?! :headbang:
A decent local bodyshop could do just as good a job for a fraction of the price!

I bought mine from eBay for £50 each side. They have a little tab that needed to be cut/snapped off in order to fit. I’m guessing LCI cars have the hole in the panel for them to slot into.

Looks like it will be £100 then. Going to put on hold until next month as this month have just got sills for my Z3 and the misses will shut me down if I mention indicators

So I thought, Dave. I reached out to a dozen local body shops and specialty bodywork and helmet painters in my area (here in San Francisco), and they all declined; not their thing, too busy, too complicated, the 3M tape, etc. Go figure. (Similar to when I was looking for a flat-bottom wheel, and the best and cheapest option was to post the wheel to Control Customs in Newton Abbot. Yeah, go figure.)

The maths: 100 pounds sterling is 123 dollars. That's for the OE-ish (??) chrome. iND sell it for 290 dollars painted to your choice. 170 dollars delta. On a 35,000 dollar car. I just bit the bullet. Pic below.

Mine had them fitted by the previous owner when they first came out, I found an invoice from a BMW dealer in Berlin for something like 190 euros, so £100 quid seems cheap for the genuine article now.
