Launch events at dealerships

Will pop along tomorrow night at Chesterfield for a looksee...

I am going along to Harry Fairbairn in Glasgow for their z4 launch tonight.

I will take some pictures and share my thoughts tomorrow. I am not convinced on the looks from the pictures, I am hoping I love it when I see it in person!
 
New 4 version at Eastern, Edinburgh in White and it looks stunning, wouldn't let me take a photo as their launch is Saturday!
 
Some pictures from the Harry Fairbairn launch night in Glasgow.

They had some nice canapes, live music, caricature artist and 2 z4's. There was a white 40i and a red 20i. The Interiors were lovely and I liked the car much more in the flesh than I did in the pictures. Staff were very friendly and well trained up on the cars. The jump in tech over the e89 is amazing - Loved the large sat nav screen, perfect for a road trip. Seats also felt very comfortable.

Doesn't look very busy for a launch night.
I remember going to the launch of the new Yamaha R1 in 2009, the shop was crammed with people wanting a look and to hear it.

I'd imagine there's a few more BMW dealerships compared to Yamaha.

Yep you will be right but I would imagine that BMW sell way more cars than Yamaha sell bikes.

I took these pictures at the end of the night when I could get a clear shot of the cars without people crowding round them
 
Peter Vardy in Edinburgh had their launch events on the 6th and 7th for both the 3 series and the Z4. I'm tempted to go have a snoop around.

Eastern have the M40i, saw it there yesterday so if Peter Vardy don't have one it's not far to travel!
