Apparently I have problems with keeping off of ebay at the moment:
Big stepped intercooler
New NGK 1 step colder spark plugs
Magnetic thin walled spark plug socket
OBD2 Cable to flash MHD
PB Brakes6 pot front BBK

Intercooler fitted, not using my normal luxuries of a ramp, which was a shame!
Fitted pretty easily, typical swearing and hand cutting with minimal space and crud in your eyes
Also loaded the MHD Stage 1+ tune, wow what a different! Even on a custom tuned car, going to the MHD tune was well worth it and the pops and burbles are creasing me up
Being off work for 3 weeks has cost me a fortune, but well worth it!

Magnifique....!! :hattip:

What do you make of the brakes sire...?
They're a mega bit of kit! I'm going to have another go bleeding with a pressure bleeder at the weekend, as the pedal feels a little bit squishy still... but I can tell the actual breaking performance is certainly much improved and I am sure they would put up with repetitive braking much more!

Lovely upgrades.
And an eBay affliction that you shouldn't fight.
Thanks! It's a dangerous slope

Give the callipers a good tap all round lots of times with a rubber mallet Reecey.....should shift some tiny bubbles stuck in crevices.

Apologies if I’m teaching granny to suck eggs etc......

Not at all, not heard that one before but sounds like it is worth a try! :D

Heard the pressure bleeder works well from the reservoir forcing the fluid through the lines

You get air tiny locks in the callipers Reecey as they’re brand new, ANY air in them has an effect on pedal pressure.

I can’t remember if it was Beedub or Tom K on here that used a rubber mallet with good results. Don’t be shy, give them a pounding....!

Looking good!

I have the same intercooler, or at least very similar.
Seemed to go on quite easily!
How does the MHD Stage 2+ map feel? I'm really contemplating going for downpipes but the previous owner already removed the secondary cats and I wouldn't stand a chance going for a legit MOT with neither

Trying hard not to keep looking for downpipes
Full service completed:
Just for my own reference more than anything!

Full service now complete:
  • 0w40 Castrol Edge
  • Genuine oil filter
  • Carbon activated cabin/pollen filter
  • CTS Intake
  • NGK 1 step colder spark plugs (gapped to 0.022" - missus not happy about gapping the spark plugs in bed:muttley:)
Beauty of having access to a ramp and saving about £300 on main stealer prices for the costing of 2 hours of my own time and getting a little dirty!

There looks to be a lot of oil on that spark plug is your valve cover leaking?

Thought the same, other 5 plugs are fine weirdly and car is normal. Couldn't see any oil pools etc, may have another look!

Agreed, look for cracks in the valve cover around the that spark plug. Could also be the gasket.
