Finally my sports button started working fine all by itself. I found out that if EML light is lit on dash sport button will not work, just experienced that today itself. However even if eml light is cleared and is not lit on dash, it can take some time for the sport button to be usable again. Might be it checks for some signal to ensure everything is working correctly before enabling you to use the sports button. Anyway thats my finding. My sports button is working fine now. Cheers
