Latest IOS on iPad

My IPhone updated last week but today, the update has come thru again?? It's the same update as last week, IOS 9.3, not 9.3.1 orsimilar so it's not a fix. Then again, my IPhone is fine.

My wife is still unable to update her Ipad Air, still saying not connected to the internet.

No need to be sorry - must be something on my iPad. I've just discovered that buttons in emails freeze the email app too :headbang:

This is a known problem which only affects a few iPads so Apple aren't busting a gut to fix it. They do know about it and it will probably get resolved at some point. It also affects iPads of all ages...

If a soft reset hasn't fixed it, you will probably find that disabling JavaScript by going into Settings->Safari does the trick. Obviously, this disables JavaScript and you may not get the full experience with some websites.

Other options are download a diiferent browser from the App Store such as Chrome, Firefox, Puffin, etc. There is also a free browser from AdBlock Plus which has some obvious benefits.

An iPad 2 in the family had the same problem this week and I tried an Erase all Contents and Settings through Settings->General->Reset and then restored it from a 4 month old iCloud backup - (it was definitely working fine 4 months ago...) So far so good, although I have heard of some people running into the same problem again after 2-3 weeks.

The general suspicion is that it is caused by a unique combination of installed apps, or perhaps just one in particular, but none have been identified as a universal problem.

I've reverted - well I thought I had.
It now shows that 9.3 is available for download and ready for installation but that 9.3 is the current version .
I give up - it's working now so I'm leaving it alone until 9.3.1 arrives :D

I know this does not help .. bt my android (motorola) phone works 100% with the Z4 and both minis
:?

I know this doesn't help either but I have no trouble making calls on my landline....

And my trains are running just fine!! Not sure if this helps?

I'm using carrier pigeons and have had no problems at all for 50+ years, but it is important to get the right strain / breeding, and mine do go back to pre WW1. :)

Is anyone else having issues with Safari on an iPad after updating recently ? I've got an iPad Air, and clicking on embedded links and buttons often results in no response, or safari itself just locking up. Weirdly, it seems to be fine on my iPhone 6. It's doing my nut in :headbang:

Mines the other way around Bing, iPad ok, iPhone 6 won't have it at all :-(

There was another update yesterday of around 28mb to 9.3.1
Not had any issues since adding that to iPhone 5, 6, 6s and iPad

I was surprised there was such a basic glitch in the 9.3 release .
They didn't admit to either - I spent some time fiddling because I thought the errors were end user induced.
