Latest AC Schnitzer Type VIII's

I was browsing a magazine and saw these featured as the latest Type VIII incarnation from AC Schnitzer and saw them displayed )Photoshop I'm sure) on their German website on a Zed 4

Not something I'll be buying at £2800 a set from the UK dealer, but I rather like them - reminiscent of the spokes of the 108 and probaly best suited to big disks

Those repeater 'slats' are ugly though

I like those. Almost enough to strongly consider purchasing. Are they lighter than the stock wheels? If so then they might move into the somewhat considering purchase category.

you'd definitely need big discs for those, smaller discs would really change the look.

They are described as light alloy, but nothing on their sites seems to give an actual weight.

yeah, like those a lot... I actually stumbled across a pic of an E89 with them on last night, looked good on that too...

Don't think they'd go on mine though, I'm really having trouble coming up with a solution for my wheels at the moment; My 108s are really corroded so next year (when the finance ends ) I'm either going to have them refurbed and fight the corrosion, or get a new set. Though I'm struggling to find any that I like, want the elegance of the 108s, without the corrosion and with a bit of individuality...

So keep posting those wheels peeps

I am still partial to the AC Type III Racing wheels... Of course they are on the wifes Roadster..
