Last check - Rim sizes!!

OK, so I have trawled through many of the old threads on the search facility regarding wheel and tyre sizes and most of them dont have a definitive overwhelming single answer outcome SO......... before I purchase, does the following look like it will fit no problems, or need spacers and not foul the inner arches

The 2 options I have narrowed it down to are....

FRONT: 19x8.5 (Offset 35) = 235/35/19
REAR: 19x9.5 (Offset 35) = 265/30/19 OR 275/35/19

I will be running 25mm drop on the front and just 10 on the rears (Eibach springs)

you want that rear to be 25 offset otherwise it will appear slightly sunken, even that allows plenty of room.

heres my rear et - 23 on a 9.5" rim . ignore the fronts on my car, they won't work on your car, your chosen front offset is safe and will fill the arch nicely.

experience? lots of different wheels/ tyre combo's tried on the car.
 
I have 8.5 ET 38 on the front with 35/19/235
9.5 ET 38 on the rear with 30/19/265

And I've lowered the car 30mm all round.

No rubbing issues what so ever..... Your good to go mate :thumbsup:

Compared to the 224s on your M the fronts will protrude out 13mm and the rears 1mm.
As for tyres I would go for 265/30/19s on the rears to keep the rolling radius reasonably similar back and front.

slightly sunken into the arch like the stock rear is now, you can easily go to a mid 25 offset with a 9.5" rear on the ///M, don't forget we have the m3 rear end, so for rule of thumb their fitment works with ours apart from the most aggressive of setups.
 
read this thread thoroughly, study it, and then you should have a good idea of aggressive to mild ///M fitments.

I'm running a 10" rear with an ET20 offset and 265/30/19 tyres with a standard set-up, absolutely no rubbing issues at all. I reckon I could go to a 275 section and still have no issues :)

I have already checked through that.... its one of those isnt it, that starts off being ultra helpful... then a bit too much info then before you know it you have a hundred answers to a question you were only looking to for ONE lol

Seems the wheels I have picked will be fine then, at worse if they sit too far in at the rear then perhaps a spacer it might have to be. :thumbsup:

Yup pretty much nailed it , if your not happy with the look a 10 mm spacer on the rear and job done.
