Laser "Parking Sensors"

Has anyone got any experiences of Laser "Parking Sensors"? I see a lot of ads for them but if you do any research there are many conflicting opinions. As they operate on an unlicensed and unregulated frequency, coincidentally the same one a lot of laser speed guns use, apparantly it screws them up. BTW, the Nissan laser guided active cruise control appears to do the same thing. Shocking.

The Nissan system is actually different as it does not use the 904 Nm wavelength.

As they are parking sensors, there is no law currently stopping their use. The amended traffic act that would prevent the ownership and use of ANY device that has as a function, or side effect, that it interferes with speed checking equipment, has not been passed yet.

So until that day, you are fully legal having them (they are not the greatest of parking aids, but they do work ...).

I have seen PVR's and as a parking sensor it's not great as he says, but it has other great uses
