Hi Guys/Ladies

I have ordered this bit of kit and just awaiting delivery, however whilst communicating back and forth I asked for a forum discount for those wishing to buy. Here are the details forwarded to me by Cliff from LI

My reason for going down this route rather than Blinder (great bit of kit too!!) was of its vertical heads that can be fitted in between the grilles.

His communication to me...

LI Dual or BMW DUAL GB Price is £345*.
LI Quad or BMW QUAD GB Price is £535*.

LI Dual HP (High Power) GB Price is £595*.
LI Quad HP (High Power) GB Price is £975*.

*All prices includes our optional PA/JAM Switch (turns the LI into a Parking Sensor at the flip of the hidden switch) Laser Interceptor External Speaker and Laser Interceptor Laser Jammer Tester, a £45 Value free!

*All prices include USPS International Express Mail (5-7 days) P&P.

Members may add a Valentine One RADAR Detector for an additional £275 (My cost plus shipping). Sorry, no V1's at this price w/o an LI purchase!

All units ship directly from and payments come directly to LI-USA. If someone wants a unit, they must email me which version they want, DUAL/BMW DUAL or QUAD/BMW QUAD, HP DUAL or HP QUAD and how many. There is a limit of 2 units per person at the GB price. At that time, I'll need their email addresses and LI-USA will immediately then send them a PayPal invoice via email or they may phone in their order. GB Participants must pay as they order. Once payment is received, LI-USA will ship their order immediately so as stated earlier, there is no waiting for a certain number to be reached for the GB Pricing

How much do people pay for this kit! Personally I wouldn't touch one with a very long barge pole. Seems jammers can flag up a 'jammed' code on the speed gun and a world of trouble can follow

Watch the video on my original thread, they don't show as jamming.

......... Um and the penny won't drop when an low flying ///M skims through the plot without registering? I reckon a jamming scalp would be highly prized and much sought after. Also I'm wondering if you may be walking a fine line advertising a device who's sole intention is to pervert or obstruct prosecution?
I'm no speeding do-gooder but most traps are in 30 zones which ought to be respected (although I know we all creep over from time to time) and some people need to protect their licence/job etc, but run a kid over with one of these fitted and your *alls will be toast.

They just don't get a fix, which is common. As with most units, when they detect interference they alarm and then deactivate after a few seconds. That's time to slow down (if you're speeding) whereupon they get a reading.

Btw the bandwidth these things use, along with the police laser guns is an unregulated frequency and it is not illegal to own one. If you're dumb enough to modify them so they don't deactivate when they detect interference from another laser source then you deserve all you get.

As to advertising, they have a valid and working purpose as a parking sensor.

As far as urban built up areas go, I'm with you. Vans over motorways and on dual carriageways are just revenue generators though and they can go do one.

we're all cool Stu' - I'll butt out, it just felt a bit uncomfortable on an unusually responsible forum 8)

Nothing controversial about this kit in my opinion.

Stuart if you haven't bought yours yet, have a snatch at this.

I wish I could agree with that, but when they change a road near me that has never seen an accident from 60 mph to 30 mph, and then put traps up, it deserves to be treated with the contempt it deserves. To be honest, it is actually rare that a trap is at a danger spot like near a school as hardly anyone speeds there so they would not catch enough people to make it worth their while, so usually it is at places where 30 or 40 is inappropriate.

Those that have been caught with jammers (I think it has been 3 in total now in the last 10 years), all have made the mistake of being silly with them. This includes just buying a jammer that has no function at all. A parking sensor or a gate opener has a perfect function and no court has or can convict on the balance of likely hood that the primary function would be jamming rather than being a parking sensor / gate opener. The police has also been short sighted in selecting a wavelength that is not protected. That was all they needed to do, just select a protected wavelength and nobody could use it. They did not, so that is another reason they can not achieve what they want.
