That 'art car' Z4MC looks cool.. looks like you had a great day! I see you're in Orange County - is that where the event was held as well? lovely part of the world - a friend of mine used to stay in Huntingdon Beach a few years back, lives down south now in San Diego... did you take any pics of the 2002's there, I remember once leaving the apartment in Huntingdon, just joining the PCH when I saw a BMW 2002 and a ~'75 911 having a little fun... :)

oh, and I take it from the numberplate that it's your silver roadster in the pics! those ellipsoids - do they sell them in chrome over in the US, or did you have them chromed?

This was a media pre event we attended. The event was held at the Rose Bowl in LA County, about 40 miles north of me. Yes that is my silver Z next to the art car. Parking next to a art car is the only way my silver can get noticed. The 06 is my second Z, I had a 04 and totaled it and replaced with the 06 si. I had the rims chromed for the 04 and then used them on the 06. I get teased a bit about having chrome rims ( as I do track the car from time to time, adding unsprong weight you see ) LOL The chrome allows me to have something shinny on the car, as silver will never shine like a dark color. I'm old school anyways. I do not mind being teased as I at least get noticed ( teasing attention is better than none at all ). With chrome wheels the brake dust just wipes off real nice and the ellipsoids are beefy and have no small areas that are a pain to clean.

I live like 8 miles of Huntington Beach, sorry no pics of the 2002's.
