I recently bought some carpet mats for my dad's E46 Touring from Autostyle. They are based in Milton Keynes and their owner, Peter, confirmed he could do a group buy offer on lambswool carpets for the E89 (he has a template so fit should be perfect). I'm really interested in getting a set as the black mats in my Z4 are a bit tired after two winters and it would be nice to have a summr set. I've seen the lambswool mats in black and they are really thick and offer a more luxurious feel than the standard BMW items. The price of the standard mats from BMW is around £80 - £90 and so the group buy offer if I can find 10 buyers is broadly comparable for a much better product.
A bit about the product: The lambs wool carpet is approx. 22-24 mill thick (just short of an inch) and will be finished in black leatherette binding.
The backing is a non slip felt type, with a fairly heavy layer of EPDM. The driver's mat will have a polyamide carpet heel pad in black for better wear.
A set of front mats for the BMW Z4 (E89) in thick lambs wool material in black would normally be priced at £150 but for the forum members they’ll offer a discounted price.
Pricing structure for the group buy as follows:
1-5 sets : £150
5-10 sets : £135
10 and more sets : £110
Postage is £7 per set for a mainland UK address, but members are welcome to pick them up from their office in Milton Keynes.
International shipping is available on request.
In case anyone wants to have a set of 4 mats (for another car) please add £20 to the above prices.
