No point worrying about such things, just get the warranty or the cheque book out and get it sorted.

A lot cheaper, but the engine on my Mondeo Si 24v went bang two weeks out of warranty. Cost me all but 4k for a shiny new one, a good few years ago. It's only money. :roll:

A subsequent video said 40,000 Euros for new engine and clutch. Car had done 75,000km when it went.
I'm assuming from what he was saying that it wasn't covered by warranty.
That's an expensive afternoon...
