Lambo 4x4?

Mark, I wonder if it's the bloke who had the black R8 V10? Saw that parked a few times near where you took those pics! Great photos

Saw him there today as well....

saw the FF guy, actually surprised me as I was expecting italian suit, loafers etc etc.... this guy had an 80's shiny suit on :?

Bing - he's brave in there as that's where my car was "hit & run" (and am still waiting on the police report after 6 weeks....)

I had a good look at that R8 once. To me it just looks like a slightly larger TT. Didn't look "special" at all.

Not surprised he had a shiny suit on - was probably all he could afford after spashing £200k+ on the FF !

Colleague of mine owns an R8 - nice drive, very well made and put together. Wouldn't mind one myself - but he is single ;)

Agree about the suit :D that is one expensive motor!!

Do they not give you a free suit after taking the shirt off your back to pay for it ? Bit mean of them...

It's interesting - and I remember the military lambo 4x4 too, hideous thing.

It seems that many manufacturers are these days trying to get into each niche of car, and perhaps that's partly because of the EU regulations on average emissions, but if you have a particular in-house style of design or brand identity, it just doesn't work...

The lambo and the bentley above look like their normal cars, but on stilts... ...they look arkward and out of place.

Porsche *just* managed it with the early Cayenne, the more recent ones look better.
Audi and Volvo have done ok with their 'SUV' style cars, but they haven't done anything 'crazy' - they were always 'normal' cars anyway.

Aston Martin's Cygnet looks rediculous, but they needed to make it.

I guess the extreme cars are marketing in a way - no genuine market research would suggest that a prospective Bentley buyer is looking for a 4x4 style Bentley - they are known for what they make, that is how brand identity works...
