Dear all,

Looking to replace both of these post cat 3.0

03 Lambda Monitor sensor L=990MM 1 11781433940
04 Lambda Monitor sensor L=990MM 1 11787513963

Are both the same part? thanks
 
The different part numbers suggest there is a difference. If the parts were identical, realoem would list one part number with qty 2.
 
That seems very odd as both have the same cable length and have identical fittings, can see they are different for the pre cat ones as the cable lengths are different. Just had a look at what models post cat senspors are fitted to, Bank 1 is fitted to numerous models but Bank 2 only shows fitted to Z4's range. Maybe there is a difference?
 
Bosch also list two different parts : 15109 and 15669
One difference seems to be the sleeves are different colours, grey & black, maybe to help connect them correctly? Don't know if the connectors are the same? As you say, odd that part is only used in the Z4 (and X3) and not other cars with the same engine.
