Lake district roadtrip

Hi guys,

I'm picking up my E89 on the 28th of September and then will be heading for the Lake District to celebrate.

I was wondering if anybody had some good ideas of places to stay or things to see whilst there?

Any postcodes, roads or attraction suggestions would be very helpful.

You could try Honister pass and Kirkstone pass we did these on the National meet stunning scenery

for hotels - you might wanna have a look at this thread

For roads - too many to choose, a couple already mentioned above. The smaller roads such as hard knott pass and the struggle are challenging and exciting if you get a clear run....
