I need to read through the thread to see route and times. I did Hardknott and Wrynose 3 weeks ago with a small group of Z3s/Z4s :o twice in a month :o is scarey :D but would love to do Kirkstone.

New route is basically gonna be Penrith down to Ambleside via Kirkstone Pass then across Hardknott and Wrynose to Eskdale, down to Broughton, across to Newby Bridge, up towards Windermere then onto Keswick and back :)

Take it easy on Hardknott a mate of mine went over it a few weeks ago and said the road was in a very poor state. :thumbsdown:

But we are going on the 15th not 14th Ste :roll:

The 15th looks like it is going to be a tad damp and blustery :(

Even so, those in the lake district know not to trust the weather forecasts one bit, with the irish sea on one side and mountains all around, and then the pennines on the other the weather can do funny thins 8)

Received confirmation today that we will complete on the purchase of our new home tomorrow so will be moving over the weekend. Sorry guys but going to have to take a rain check on Sunday's meet. :thumbsdown:
