Lacquer peeling off!

I washed my car yesterday and the lacquer on the front bumper has started to come off! Question is, is it with going to BMW complaining about it or not? Either way the bumper needs a respray. It's a 54 plate.

I had a small patch , about the size of a 20p, peeling from the bottom of the rear wheel arch, gave a rub down and a scoosh of lacquer I got from halfords , it came up as new . I also have lacquer peeling from the bumper , however due to road rash , Im putting it in to get sprayed .
 
Are you sure that's its the original finish or did the previous owner get it resprayed....? Cant see BMW taking this on unless you bought it from a franchised desaler

Complaining to BMW about a bit of peeling lacquer on a flexible plastic body panel on a car thats 7+ years old years old? Good luck with that one! :roll:
