Lack of concours Zeds

Bit of a concours fan and I can't find many Zeds bufftied up to the nines. The Ford guys have a big concours scene but not Zeds it would seem, unless anyone knows different and can point me in the right direction. Quips of ' cars are meant to be driven' are a bit old hat tbh....

Cheers if anyone posts. :D

Vast majority of us are running 2,3,4 or even more previous owners & anything up to 150k miles so even of the car is a low use weekender "concours" is most likely a pipedream .
I'm sure there will be many like myself though who take pride in having their cars in as tiptop order as possible whilst still unafraid of being caught out in the rain
Buying new is always going to give a head start on keeping it looking new especially if its a 2nd or 3rd car
I spent a few hours this morning cleaning the trim inside & under bonnet , I enjoy it but don't fool myself into thinking its "conours" but then it has covered 126k

I would class mine as concourse or very very close. But I've sold it :headbang:

Snap! But I've not sold mines :P

We've got a few older cars which are concourse but really to keep them in that state you can't really use them that often and the work needed to maintain them even without driving them is quite a feet in itself. It's probably not so difficult with modern plastic under the bonnet cars but older metal only jobs are a different kettle of fish. Especially if it's all polished.

I did'nt really mean we're there any on the forum, more in general. I just find it strange that there does'nt seem to be a following for concours amongst Zed's as they are a good looking car in every guise. It's a bugger liking them though, I'd say mine is concours but it's a garage queen and a year old so it should be, and I'm constantly torn with I should be using it in all weathers as life's too short and keeping it mint because it floats my boat it being so nice.

First world problem I know...

i would say mine was probably as close to this category tbh but realistically it should be with 12k miles..... i love wringing its neck but also find cleaning and pampering it extremely enjoyable also.

Yours is probably furthest away from concours except for condition.
Is concours condition not completely standard?

Indeed, I thought concours is how it would have driven out the showroom/off the production line from new?

concourse in regards to condition....

every concourse show I've gone too includes monster modded vehicles too.... it doesnt have to be as factory.
