L/100k gauge is not working

Hi There,

On my z4 I just purchased today, I noticed that the l/100km in the instrument cluster is not working, it is just stuck on reading 2.2l/100k

Is this a common problem?

I assume its supposed to read your average fuel consumtion over 100kms?

Thank you for any help, I would like to fix this, not a big thing, but still something I would like to have working rather than not.
 
Cycle the display so it reads the L/100K, push and hold down the button on the indicator stalk and this will reset the display.

The reason it won't change is because it takes an average over the entire time you're driving, so if its never been reset you won't get a proper read out..

Thank you for the reply, I will give that a go and hopefully I can get it to work.

These truly are amazing machines, I am loving mine, hoping to upgrade to a 2012 z4 early next year I like it that much!
