KW v3 suspension

I’ve been debating whether to change the suspension on my Z4MC for some time now and I just can’t make up my mind.

Has anyone gone the route of installing KW v3 shocks on a UK car?

If so, I’d like to know what you think, how’s it compare to the standard setup and what you wanted to achieve with the install.

Anyone gone down this route ?
:)

i personally would go with ground control units, ive rode in my friends car with the said setup and the ride was more complaint than stock but my god the handling and body control was nothink short of amazing.

i recently installed kw v3's and they are just awesome - they come with a 16 point damper setting system. on hard setting say 4 (half turn) the car handles like a dream. Will try out the harder settings on track very soon.. On a soft setting i think the ride is more compliant than stock....

It's the best mod i've done so far - happy to give you a spin one w/e, i'm based in s/e london.

interesting.. how much roughly would these cost ?

sorry Beedub - didn't take any pics before the install, i;m due a brake disc upgrade at some point before spa next month so will take some pics of the kit with the wheels off.

In terms of cost Andy - you will be looking at c£1.4k for the kit and a further £150-200 for installation and set up if you are a mechanical novice like me....

Thanks for the offer, but I'm in sunny Leeds, a bit of a trek, if I'm ever down your way I'll be sure to look you up

Had the fronts on the softest settings this evening and couldn't believe how subtle the ride comfort was - drove past this normally bumpy road which when on the hard setting can be quite harsh - with the setting on soft, car felt very soft over the bumps which is testament to the flexibility the kit comes with...

I have KW Clubsports, the next model up from the V3s, and have to say I am very impressed with the range of adjustability and improvements to handling and balance they brought to the car. Excellent ride as well, far better than stock...

Does it feel more floaty than stock on the softest setting or just better controlled, but not as harsh?

Not floaty, just subtle enough to be comfortable and not harsh at all. Not sure about control as you get more body roll with the soft setting, so wouldn't want to try anything adventurous..
