KW V3 and 224m

Can anyone confirm if KW V3 clears stock 224m wheels with stock 225/255 tires at maximum ride height (minimum drop)? I am looking at going KW V3 but don't want spacers and I also don't want much of a drop, I am fine with the 10 mm minimum front drop. I have seen mixed reports here and on zpost as to if this clears safely without a spacer when not dropped very much.

They don’t clear the V3s at any height, unfortunately. Might be able to get away with 5mm, but 10mm is more common and will give you a bit of wiggle room for different types of tyre.
 
It’s my understanding that the V3s require spacers to clear the springs with 224s and most of the aftermarket wheels commonly fitted to our cars.
Clubsports usually don’t require spacers, but give a harsher ride. I needed 5mm spacers at the front when I fitted Clubsports because I replaced the OEM ARBs with H&R and had clearance issues.

I wonder if people have tried it “statically” and it eyeballs ok. Either that or they are running a big stretch on their front tyres.
 
Definitely something weird going on. I'm not running 224s any more - they were spaced by the previous owner, but they looked pretty tight with 10mm spacers at the front and the springs still bear the marks from where they rubbed! Tyres needed replacing too, IIRC.
