confused, thought kw v3 were coilovers.... apparently not on the rear, seperate shocks and springs, not sure how the ride height is adjusted , a coilover has adjustable spring perches, any ideas or personal experience of these. :?

The springs of KWV3 for the Z4M are "progressive" type rather than a fixed-rate coilover. If you look at the photo in the first post in this thread: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=54017 you can see that the front damper is threaded and that there is an adjustable spring perch at the bottom of the spring that can be adjusted for ride height at the front. This is exactly the same system as the AC Schnitzer Racing suspension that I have. The rear springs sit on adjustable spring perches which adjust rear ride height.

In the KW Clubsport, the rear springs are remote of the dampers, as per the OEM set-up and KWV3.
