As I said earlier I had them on my Elise as road tyres when I didn't want full on track day tyres and they were good. I even did two (wettish) days at Spa on them.
I'd certainly also consider the V70a as a track day tyre for a Z4M, have seen good reports of them on M3s and CSLs.

outperform some top price competition. Certain products suit some cars better than others but most customers will find one of the mid range products

They may be " OK " tyres but for the same or a few quid more you can have better than ok :wink: now if they were considerably cheaper then i could understand choosing them

Sorry Simon, it wasn't a dig at you. I was catching up on the thread and the short, blunt reply made me laugh.
I do disagree with you but you misunderstood my original post. I'm not daft enough to pay £££ on a Z4M as a weekend car and then scrimp on tyres. It was just something that cropped up in conversation and I thought I'd see what the forum thought or had experienced. That's all.

Welcome to the Forum - something in the Newbies section and tell us about your Zed You are quite right that certain tyres suit different vehicles etc and indeed the way a vehicle is driven. But you mention performance - what do you mean here - a general tyre which gives long life, a comfortable drive etc or extreme grip, good cornering etc. I think you need to clarify....and in what areas do the K, H, F tyres outperform?
