Koni-Sport suspension kit E85 Brand New

I’m only going to leave this up for a very short time as I have ‘Safe Order’ on it from Auto.doc so can return it for a full refund without any postage costs.

This is the Koni-sport yellow adjustable shocks with H&R springs kit, brand new and unopened.

£545.00 which is what I paid, is an excellent piece for this kit, but I’ve decided to go down a different route and I want to return my car close to standard.

I’m only listing it to see if anyone wants it at the low price I paid, as I’ll get a full refund if I send it back - hope that makes sense. It’s here, in my study, …no wait time from Germany.

I’m based in Bristol/Bath

Link should take you to the kit on Demon tweeks website

Interested in these but am not that local (Sussex). Looking at these on adoc site now at same price. I don't imagine you will as you can return foc, but I'd take them for 400 collection at weekend.

No, sorry, I’ve got them on ‘safe-order’ So I get a full refund and Auto.Doc cover the return costs.

I only listed them really as the Auto.Doc discount very seldom drops to the 40% plus mark, and I thought someone local might want them, and they’re physically here with no real wait. I’ll give it until the end of the week and then make contact for a return.

Thanks for the interest though.

Fair enough, don't ask, don't ... Out of interest why have you decided to not fit them / what are you doing instead?

My latest E85 is a bit of a minter, and I’ve been going around in circles on it a bit but I think that keeping it as stock as possible is the right way to go (for me).

On that basis, moving from the BC coilovers to the Koni’s felt like a bit of a half way house in that respect. I’m never going to track it, so the fact that it’s been corner-weighted etc is a bit lost on me…. And on some of the roads around here!

I genuinely believe the koni-sports give the best compromise between ride and handling for British roads (from the research I’ve done), but I’ve never driven an E85 with them fitted.

The smoothest ‘B road’ Zed I’ve driven was my silver 3.0Si Se running Replacement Sach’s shocks and Eibach springs. Would have probably been terrible on a track, but was lovely on the back roads… a joy to drive

I’ve acquired some Eibach’s from the forum and I got another order in to Auto.Doc for a set of O.E. Sachs Dampers on Friday.

If I decide to sell this car, I think I’ll achieve the best price with standard (bar the springs) renewed suspension.

I did see your other listing for the BCs so ah that all makes sense. Yes from what I've read I think I agree re the half way house of the konis. I've also been thinking even with those aim not sure how good or bad it would be with state of roads around here but they do get good reviews even for light track use.

I may look at getting some if they came down in price a bit as a bit more than I want to spend really and or may go for eibach pro springs only. That transformed my 6 series' handling and ride so imagine it would be a decent change on the Z4 (also have 3.0si).

I agree though, resale wise closest to stock is probably likely to widen the potential buyer pool.
