Hey

A while back I was in Vienna and saw these 20 year olds driving around in what looked like stylized go karts. They looked a bit like the style of this car - https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/21/Bugatti_Typ_35C_Grand_Prix_Racer_1926.jpg I'm guessing small engines, but looked fun non the less.

There were maybe 6 of them driving in convoy... looked like great fun.

Anyhow, I love my Zed and don't ever think I'l ever get rid of it, but I love the idea of getting something slightly more lightweight for giggles. In an ideal world I would buy a Caterham, but I think its going to be about 20 years before I can afford one :( I have always loved those cars. I very nearly bought one before the Zed, but the lowest prices start at £15k so pretty hard to get something decent even for low cash.

Just wondering if you guys know of any road legal cheap thrills similar to this?

So the budget won't stretch to a Cateram. but you recon a nice old Bugati Type 35 would do instead.

Lols, I mean it looked like the old style racing cars. A family friend has an old Bentley thats work £250k, so god know how much a buggati would be!

I think these guys had simple 200cc engine go karts with major styling upgrades. Duno how they got them on the road though. Would love to hear if anyone knows what they are.

This one looks like a bit of fun. :D Not road legal though.

Interesting! I have never even changed a tyre so would have to buy pre built :p

But looks interesting thats for sure. Especially given that its 50% lighter than an mx5!
