Know anything about E46 Touring

I'm looking at getting a 330i Touring and would like to start researching the spec..
Ideally I would like a brochure for the BMW E46 Touring 330i

I believe that this is the same engine as my 3.0 Z4..!
I think the E91 is too expensive at the moment so it will have to be the E46. There are some nice Sport models out there for the 10k mark

I'm interested to hear any advice that is going...?
Cheers

Really need a touring? I would check the actual cu ft boot sizes of both cars before you decide. A guy on the 1 series forum just got an E91 and reckons it is no more practical than 1 series 5 door, due to the shape of the boot.

Daughters boyfriend researched these for ages to get a long distance cruiser for work (races a Lotus as a weekend car)

In the end opted for a E46 320 D Coupe with all the M sport bits. (Has more badges but I can't recall) Boot is very large, styling nice being 2 door and the ///M sport bits make it look good. Have to say I'm impressed with the pull of a 4 cyl diesel (turbo of course) steptronic auto, etc. In the end it swayed him to the style over increase in luggage capacity.

The chaps are on the money about the boot space (of course)...

Luggage Capacity (assume this is seats up)
Touring - 435L
Coupe - 410 L
Saloon - 440 L
Other advantage, in the coupe / saloon everything is out of sight

For me, as a second car, the 330D Sport would be the pick. Driven one a few times, a great car. For a diesel the engine sounds okay too (from the driver's seat anyway) more growl, less rattle.

Plenty of facts and figures here - Parkers BMW Link

Figures generally seem to be right. I don't always agree with the reviews though. If you've not used the site before, select facts and figures and then click on the car you want for the above info and options.
